codefor.de

Code for Germany connects developers, designers, and open data enthusiasts from all over Germany. The program has established Open Knowledge Labs (OK Labs) in 25 German cities. These serve as meeting points for collaboration and exchange between local activists and city representatives. The goal of the project is to facilitate the development of applications and projects that use open data in order to further political participation and empowerment. On the project website, you can follow the individual labs and their work. The project cooperates with Code for America and Google.
